Join us on Tuesday, October 20 for a special presentation about a documentary film on combatting hate, building community, and defending democracy. Director/producer Jennie Reinish, producer Abbie Nissenson, and producer Malynda Hale will present I Cannot Be A Bystander.

The film looks at people who have been targets of hate but have turned those experiences into activism and community activation. Through the voices of survivors, civic leaders, scholars, clergy, and young people, the film shows how individuals can confront rising prejudice, protect democratic values, and help build a more inclusive future through practical, concrete acts of courage.

JCafé is a social program for the 65+ Jewish community, offering a delicious deli lunch followed by an engaging class, film, or lively discussion! For just $10, enjoy a deli buffet, drinks, and dessert. JCafé takes place every Tuesday from 11:30am-1:30pm. Please note, lunch is served from 11:30-12:30 pm.
