After your joyous delivery, we'll deliver a wonderful complimentary Shalom Baby Basket for you and your baby filled with gifts and information about our local Jewish community, Federation's Children & Family programs and local Jewish preschools, given with love by the Jewish Federation and Jewish Family Service. Our way of welcoming, and helping you and your precious newborn connect to our Jewish community.

The Knitzvah Project
Knitters, crochet mavens, and crafters! Please help us welcome Jewish babies into our community by donating hand-made blankets, booties, stuffed animals, or hats to go in our Shalom Baby Baskets! Baskets are delivered throughout the year and include local resources, books, gifts, and toys to help welcome babies and their families into the local Jewish community family! Any little bit you can give will go a long way in giving these welcome baskets a warm, personal, and creative touch.
Other Basket items needed: onesies, teething toys, pacifiers, bottles, blankets, hats, booties, baby books, etc.
