Join us on Tuesday, October 13, for a special presentation and discussion about AI, with Bertrand Meyer. Bertrand Meyer, world-renowned computer scientist, former UCSB professor and entrepreneur will talk about Artificial Intelligence and present his new book, AI for Smarties: Understanding Artificial Intelligence.
In this talk, Bertrand will take us beyond the hype and explain the ideas behind artificial intelligence in a clear and accessible way: what AI can do, how it learns, why it can sometimes get things remarkably wrong, and what we should understand before simply trusting the technology. His new book, AI for Smarties, is designed to help readers understand AI rather than simply use it.
