SUMMARY:Family Wellness Initiative
DESCRIPTION:The Family Wellness Initiative (FWI) is Jewish Family S
 ervice’s newly expanded social services program designed to provide a
  safe and supportive space for mothers\, children\, and families to acce
 ss the resources they need.\n\nThis initiative is open to all in need a
 nd designed to cater to the specific needs of women and children. \n\n&
 nbsp\;\n\nFWI provides the following free services:\n\n 	weekly hot meal
 s\n 	food pantry\n 	baby formula\n 	diapers\n 	bilingual mental health c
 heck-ins\n 	community resource consultations\n 	seasonal clothing items\
 n 	school supplies\n\nFWI is designed to ensure that struggling families
  have their immediate needs met while also empowering and supporting the
 m to improve the conditions that have contributed to their struggles.\n\
 nOur Spanish-speaking therapist and seasoned Community Resources Spec
 ialist are present for the duration of each week’s program to check i
 n with participants and provide additional resources and services as nee
 ded.\n\nFWI utilizes the Santa Barbara Food Bank and LEAP to source prov
 isions for this program.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nEvery Wednesday* from 3:00 pm - 4
 :00 pm or by appointment.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nFor more information or a make a
