This is a professional workshop sponsored by the Jewish Family Service of Greater Santa Barbara. Three CEUs will be provided for LCSWs and LMFTs, for the three-hour workshop presented by Deborah S. Levinson. Deborah is a Johns Hopkins trained psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker in practice in Manhattan and in Maryland. She has published a model for the process of adjustment after major loss, i.e. death, divorce or end of a long-term relationship. She addresses this loss as a post-traumatic stress disorder and has written three books which clinicians can use with their clients, to provide tools and skills to move forward.
