Join the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara Men’s Division on Zoom for a fun guided whisky tasting with Tel Aviv-based M&H Whisky Distillery and a discussion with special guest, Aaron Edelheit.
Aaron is passionate about alleviating the issue of homelessness in our community and is a key partner in bringing the SF Bay Area-based group Dignity Moves to Santa Barbara with a pilot project to house and help homeless people receive immediate services, with permanent housing as the goal. This innovative “interim supportive housing” project is a model of collaboration, and the County of Santa Barbara is a partner. Hear more about Dignity Moves and learn how you can participate and lend a hand.
M&H Whisky Distillery (formerly Milk & Honey) was founded in 2012 and touts itself as “the first-ever commercial Israeli Single Malt whisky.” Because of the warm and humid climate of Tel Aviv, whisky matures more rapidly and more readily absorbs flavors given off by a given barrel. In this case, ex-bourbon and special red-wine STR casks lend the finished product light and balanced character with notes of vanilla and light oak, alongside subtle hints of black pepper.
We are thrilled to welcome experts from M&H to guide our tasting.
Order your special whisky tasting kit today which will include delivery to your doorstep (within greater Santa Barbara) and a box of goodies to nosh on.
