On the anniversary of Kristallnacht we will be offering a message of hope with this special program. It begins with an independent viewing of a beautiful film, Stories from the Violins of Hope.
Please register for the program to receive a link to view the film at no cost. You will be able to view the film from November 7 at 6:00 am to November 9 at 7:00 pm.
On November 9, at 7:00 pm we gather via Zoom for a beautiful commemoration program, which will include a discussion with the premiere talent team involved with making this film:
- Moderator: Susan Morgenstern: Director – Stories from the Violins of Hope and Producing Director of The Braid
- Panelists:
- Dr. Noreen Green: Music Curator – Stories from the Violins of Hope and Artistic Director of Los Angeles Jewish Symphony
- Lisa Pearl Rosenbaum: Playwright – Stories from the Violins of Hope
- Robert Trebor: Actor (Amnon Weinstein) – Stories from the Violins of Hope
We will start the program at 7:00 pm with a welcome message from our Executive Director, Cyndi Silverman, and candle lighting and blessing from Rabbi Debi Lewis. We are also fortunate to include local Holocaust survivors on the Q&A panel.
