Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Herman P. and Sophia Taubman Jewish Studies Symposium at UCSB with an Afternoon of Study and Learning

Professor Sarah Hammerschlag (University of Chicago) will discuss Emmanuel Levinas’ Talmudic Lectures and Rabbi Dr. Wendy Zierler, Sigmund Falk Professor, Modern Jewish Literature and Feminist Studies, Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion will discuss S.Y. Agnon and Devorah Baron on the large and the small in Jewish culture.
