Art at the JCC Presents: Israel at 70 Show

 

Sponsored by the Squire Foundation, Art at the JCC will host a juried show at the Bronfman Family Jewish Community Center from March 4-May 3, 2018. 70/70/70, Israeli Artists in Santa Barbara introduces a total of 70-emerging, mid-career and established working artists. 70/70/70 aims to expose the fascinating, innovative and less known scope of current artistic creations by Israeli artists. The exhibitions are initiated and curated by Sagi Refael, an Israeli art historian, author, curator and owner of Israeli Art in Los Angeles, and by Lynn M. Holley, writer, resident curator at SBCAST and Art@theJCC, co-manager of Gray Space Gallery, and founder and director of the 3-Minute Film Festival.

 

The opening reception will be held on Sunday, March 4 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Jewish Federation’s Bronfman Family JCC, 524 Chapala Street. Enjoy wine, fine appetizers, and live Jewish Klezmer and Sephardic music by Kalinka; who will perform headlining entertainment at the community wide Santa Barbara Jewish Festival, Israel at 70 at Plaza Del Mar May 6th.
