Dr. Chaim Peri is the visionary behind Yemin Orde Youth Village in Israel. Dr. Peri is a noted authority on the education and integration of Ethiopian immigrants into Israeli society. In 1996, he received the Prime Minister’s "Guardian of the Child" Award in recognition of his outstanding work on behalf of at-risk youth. His book, Teenagers Educated The Village Way, is a brilliant testament to the power of creating communities of meaning.
