YAD Beach BBQ & Volleyball: Seventeen young adults gathered yesterday at the East Beach picnic and volleyball area on Cabrillo Blvd. We enjoyed a beautiful day of volleyball, hanging out in the sun and a plentiful picnic and barbeque. Thanks to volunteer, fitness and volleyball specialist Melody Khadavi, who lead a clinic that taught the basic fundamental skills of beach volleyball. Also, thanks to photographer Udi Goren who continues to provide professional photography for the group. Federation intern Chantel Braley helped set up the picnic area and prepare food for the grill. Roy Kimia kindly provided healthy foods and recipes as well.
