Youth counselors will be on hand with special activities for the kids. They'll have a blast exploring ancient ruins and modern digs. They'll want to be the first to climb or cable car to the top of Masada. Your son or daughter can also take a new twist on an old rite of passage with an outdoor Bar/Bat Mitzvah affirmation ceremony. And take part in interactive Family Day events for mind, body and soul.
A UJC Family Mission is mingling with new immigrants and kibitzing with kibbutzniks. It's getting backstage passes to front-page news with exclusive addresses from leaders in politics, the military, religion and science. It's Independence Hall, and walking along Jaffa's storied cobblestone streets. And peeking into dozens of art galleries and studios.
Then, travel through the corridors of time. Visit the ancient port city of Akko. Let Safed's centuries-old Jewish mysticism captivate you. Buckle up for a jeep ride to the slopes of the Golan Heights. Trek the ruins of Katzrin's oldest synagogues. Explore Beit She'an, the magnificent 1800-year-old Roman Byzantine city.
Don't worry, you'll sleep on the plane!
